Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Familio Games website, dashboard, and game display (the “Service”) operated by Corb & Co OÜ, registered in Estonia (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

Familio Games provides tools to host live quiz and game-show style events (including Familiada-style, Family Feud-style, and 5-Second Rule-style formats). The Service includes a presenter controller, audience display screens, project tools, and optional built-in question content.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Subscriptions, Plans & Billing

Access to hosting features requires an active plan (for example a time-limited pass, monthly plan, or annual plan). Prices and plan features are shown on the Pricing page and may change over time for new purchases.

• Activation & duration: Your plan is active for the paid period shown during checkout.
• Renewal: If your plan is recurring, it renews automatically unless cancelled before renewal.
• Cancellation: If you cancel, access typically continues until the end of the current paid period.
• Payment processing: Payments are processed via third-party providers (e.g., Stripe). We do not store full card details on our servers.

4. Digital Service & No “Return” of Used Access

The Service is a digital product with immediate access to hosting features after purchase/activation. Once access has been granted and used, it generally cannot be “returned” like a physical item. Refunds are handled under the Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. You must not:

• Upload or share unlawful, hateful, harassing, or infringing content.
• Use the Service to distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt other users.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law.
• Use the Service in a way that violates third-party rights, including intellectual property rights.

6. Your Content (Questions, Answers, Media)

You may create and upload your own questions, answers, project content, and assets (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and display your User Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you.

7. Built-in Content & Educational Packs

We may provide built-in question packs or templates. Those packs are licensed to you for use within the Service. You may not copy or redistribute built-in packs outside the Service unless we explicitly permit it.

8. Third-Party Screens, Devices & Two-Screen Setup

For best results, events typically use two screens (controller + audience display). You are responsible for your devices, internet connection, and any third-party software or hardware used (TV, projector, casting device, conferencing tools).

9. Availability, Changes & Maintenance

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the Service, including features and UI, to improve performance, security, or compliance.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or create security risks. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends.

11. Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Corb & Co OÜ is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid by you to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

13. Intellectual Property & Non-Affiliation

“Familio Games” and related branding are owned by Corb & Co OÜ. The Service may be inspired by well-known TV game formats, but we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any TV networks or trademark owners. All third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners.

14. Governing Law (Estonia) & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia (without regard to conflict-of-law rules). Courts of Estonia shall have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version is effective when posted on this page. If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice.
